With only a few days until Christmas, Pastor Matt continues the journey we began last time by “Focusing our Life through God’s Love!” In today’s episode, “Jesus Came to Provide Us His Refuge!, we learn that God’s refuge is His peace. The path to God’s peace is the road of grace.
Christmas reminds us that after centuries of unrest and occupation, rebellion and slavery, the people of God longed for a Savior who was strong enough to bring about a lasting peace. Today we celebrate this Peace-Giver: Jesus Christ.
Since peace comes through God’s grace, this is truly the real meaning of Christmas.
