- Take a Team: We are thrilled to be taking a small team with us and adding to it in Uganda! Right now there are men and women from California and Arkansas coming to help! Others are considering coming as well. Would you like to join us?
We are most excited about our featured event:
- Soroti: 3-Day Pastors and Wives Conference: We plan to train over 200 pastors and wives in remote Northeast Uganda first. The conference will be held in English, and translated into Lugandan, and Teso as well. These pastors get little or no training and they so appreciate when we come. Many ride in the back of commercial trucks, bike 10-30 miles, or walk miles just to come.
We will do training in Discipleship, Leadership, Marriage, and Prayer. There will be lectures, small group workshops, question and answer sessions, and prayer times. Meals and housing will be provided as well. A travel stipend will be given to some pastors who simply don’t have enough to make the trip.
We will also be doing ministry in the following areas while there:
- Kinewataka: Outreach to Prostitutes: We will target some 80-100 prostitutes in their residential community with evangelism, outreach, feminine supplies, and encouragement.
- Bukoto: Excel in Marriage Conference: For 100 young men and women at Miracle Life Center.
- Kiwatule: Drug and Alcohol Rehab Training: Encouraging and developing some 50 men and women in Biblical life skills, combined with a hosted lunch on the grounds.
- Bwaise: Transform Church Homecoming Reunion and Leadership Training: 150 people including many of the couples the Lord allowed Kate to help become couples!
