2021 – Our Year of Growth In Our Physical Lives!
Day 5: Glorify God With Our Bodies!
“Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20, CSB)
“So glorify God with your body.” The context of this command, of course, is to be sexually pure, to avoid sex outside of our marriage to someone of the opposite sex. All other sexual encounters of the body (or the mind) are classified as filthy (dirty) before God.
We have to admit that it is also hard to“glorify God with your body” when we are physically lazy, overeating, and fat. Our physical health and stamina turn the course of our lives … financially, spiritually, relationally, vibrantly!
When you think about ALL God wants to do with you in 2021, most of us have to confess we spent far too much time doing little of nothing in 2020! The Pandemic and the stay-at-home orders – lockdowns in many countries – allowed us to do little, gain lots of weight, and make choices that did little, if nothing, “to glorify God with your body.”
The ONE THING:What is the ONE THING you need to DO to glorify God in your body and honor it at the Temple of God? (Write it down right here, right now.)
Now, let’s PRAY INSTEAD OF EAT today for this ONE THING we have written down, asking God for the power to FOCUS on this ONE THING all day today and for the remainder of these 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting so that 2021 will become “Our year of GROWTH!”

21 Días de Oración y Ayuno
2021: ¡Nuestro año de crecimiento en nuestra vida física!
Día 5: ¡Glorifique a Dios con nuestro cuerpo!
“¿No sabes que tu cuerpo es un templo del Espíritu Santo que está en ti, a quien tienes de Dios? No eres tuyo, porque fuiste comprado por un precio. Así que glorifica a Dios con tu cuerpo ”. (1 Corintios 6: 19-20, CSB)
“Así que glorifica a Dios con tu cuerpo”. El contexto de este mandato, por supuesto, es ser sexualmente puro, para evitar tener relaciones sexuales fuera de nuestro matrimonio con alguien del sexo opuesto. Todos los demás encuentros sexuales del cuerpo (o la mente) se clasifican como inmundos (sucios) ante Dios.
Tenemos que admitir que también es difícil “glorificar a Dios con tu cuerpo” cuando somos físicamente perezosos, comemos en exceso y estamos gordos. Nuestra salud física y resistencia cambian el curso de nuestras vidas … ¡financieramente, espiritualmente, relacionalmente, vibrantemente!
Cuando piensas en TODO lo que Dios quiere hacer contigo en 2021, la mayoría de nosotros tenemos que confesar que pasamos demasiado tiempo haciendo poco o nada en 2020. La pandemia y las órdenes de quedarse en casa – encierros en muchos países – nos permitieron hacer poco, ganar mucho peso y tomar decisiones que hicieron poco, si nada, para “glorificar a Dios con su cuerpo”.
La ÚNICA COSA: ¿Cuál es la ÚNICA COSA que debes HACER para glorificar a Dios en tu cuerpo y honrarlo en el Templo de Dios? (Escríbalo aquí mismo, ahora mismo).
Ahora, oremos hoy en lugar de comer por esta ÚNICA COSA que hemos escrito, pidiéndole a Dios el poder de ENFOCARSE en ESTA ÚNICA COSA durante todo el día de hoy y por el resto de estos 21 días de oración y ayuno para que el 2021 se convierta en “Nuestro año de CRECIMIENTO! ”

21 Araw ng Panalangin at Pag-aayuno
2021 – Ang aming Taon ng Paglaki Sa aming Physical Lives!
Araw 5: Luwalhatiin ang Diyos Sa Aming Mga Katawan!
“Hindi mo ba alam na ang iyong katawan ay isang templo ng Banal na Espiritu na nasa iyo, na mayroon ka mula sa Diyos? Hindi ka pag-aari, sapagkat binili ka sa isang presyo. Kaya’t luwalhatiin ang Diyos sa iyong katawan. ” (1 Corinto 6: 19–20, CSB)
“Kaya’t luwalhatiin ang Diyos sa iyong katawan.” Ang konteksto ng utos na ito, siyempre, ay upang maging dalisay sa sekswal, upang maiwasan ang kasarian sa labas ng aming pag-aasawa sa ibang kasarian. Ang lahat ng iba pang pakikipagtagpo sa katawan (o ang pag-iisip) ay inuri bilang marumi (marumi) sa harap ng Diyos.
Aminin nating mahirap din na “luwalhatiin ang Diyos sa iyong katawan” kapag tayo ay pisikal na tamad, labis na pagkain, at mataba. Ang aming pisikal na kalusugan at tibay ay binabago ang takbo ng aming mga buhay… sa pananalapi, espiritwal, kaugnay, masigla!
Kapag iniisip mo ang LAHAT ng Diyos na nais gawin sa iyo noong 2021, karamihan sa atin ay kailangang magtapat na gumugol kami ng labis na oras sa paggawa ng wala sa wala sa 2020! Ang Pandemik at ang mga order na manatili sa bahay – mga lockdown sa maraming mga bansa – pinapayagan kaming gumawa ng kaunti, makakuha ng maraming timbang, at gumawa ng mga pagpipilian na maliit, kung wala, “upang luwalhatiin ang Diyos sa iyong katawan.”
Ang ISANG BAGAY:Ano ang ISANG BAGAY na kailangan mong GAWIN upang luwalhatiin ang Diyos sa iyong katawan at igalang ito sa Templo ng Diyos? (Isulat ito dito mismo, ngayon.)
Ngayon, MANALANGIN tayo INSTEAD NG KUMAIN ngayon para sa ISANG BAGAY na isinulat namin, na humihiling sa Diyos para sa kapangyarihang mag-FOCUS sa ONE NA ITONG buong araw ngayon at para sa natitirang 21 Araw ng Panalangin at Pag-aayuno upang ang 2021 ay maging “Aming taon ng paglago! ”
